YOU NEED A DIVORCE COACH!
I am so serious about this need I wish I could type everything in CAPS with exclamation points!!
This experience is too important and complex to do without an experienced, caring person devoted only to helping you to navigate through what can be one of life’s most traumatic events.
There are three parts to consider when dealing with a divorce: before, during and after.
BEFORE:
You must make a variety of preparations if you are considering uncoupling..
If you intuit your mate wants out there are even more things to do in preparation.
Your coach will aid in the preparation needed for your particular situation.
This is the foundation you need build on later to help things go smoothly. It is frequently forgotten how important this is.
DURING:
The divorce process itself is the most complex and confusing time.
Firstly and most crucial is finding the right lawyer or get the most out of the lawyer you have already chosen. This is a daunting task. Research shows that 75 percent of the divorcing change lawyers at least 2 times.
The right choice and a cooperative attorney can avoid frustration, stress and delays in the process.
Your coach will serve as a sherpa, a guide and sounding board during this time and should be able to help you work productively with the lawyer you have chosen or will choose.
Your coach and you will create a goal oriented action plan to get the best outcome. They will attend to your emotional well being during the difficult emotional transition.
AFTER:
It takes time to heal and deal with life changes. Your coach should make sure you are on the right road and be available for you during this transformation.
